TxDPS First Responders
This course is for paramedics, EMTs, fire fighters that want to carry on the job. The Texas Department of Public Safety has determined that the number of first responders who have been killed by other human beings while on the job has risen 35% in 2025.
You will learn how to store your firearm, you will dynamic shooting - including an obstacle course. You'll learn the difference between cover and concealment. You'll learn how to increase your accuracy when shooting at distances greater than 150 feet. You will learn the laws, including those specifically regarding first responders.
You will have to obtain a $1 million insurance policy to carry while on the job. *Note, the premiums on such a policy really aren't that bad.
