Youth League: Education = Informed Respect
At North Texas Shooting, we believe safety through well-informed, structured education is paramount. Our Youth Self-Defense Shooting League is designed to instill respect and responsibility in emotionally mature youth ages 8-20. Join us and empower your child with life-saving skills.
Is NTS Youth Right For Your Child?
Is your child driven, determined, and curious, but not drawn to contact sports? Does your youth want to participate in a unique sport that allows autonomy while also receiving the support and friendship of team mates? North Texas Shooting's Youth Self-Defense League could be the perfect fit. We provide a life-saving skill they will carry into adulthood, protecting them when they are on their own.
Commitment
NTS Youth Self-Defense Shooting League meets every Saturday with scheduled days off. Dues cover ammunition, targets, and equipment. Scaled dues for families with multiple league members; occasional scholarships available based on financial need.
Inclusivity
We are an equal opportunity league, open to all income ranges, skill level, and physical abilities. We do not discriminate based on legally protected traits like race, gender, religion, disability, age, sexual orientation, and national origin.
No huge upfront fees or investments required. North Texas Shooting covers all the necessities for your child to participate in our youth league.
Skill-Building
Our program instills responsibility, knowledge, and life-saving skills through safe education. Our highest core value with NTS Youth is safety. Students begin shooting T4E paintball pistols and only transition to firearms when our safety standards are met.
A Two-Year Journey of Skill and Safety
Our comprehensive program takes two years to complete, ensuring a strong foundation in safety, knowledge, and responsibility. We're one of the few Youth Self-Defense Shooting Leagues in East Texas, committed to building a solid understanding of firearms from the ground up.
Structured Education
NTS Youth Self-Defense Shooting League is for emotionally mature youth ages 8-20 years-old. Our education schedule takes all students through the same classes that we offer to adults. The difference? The classes are designed to level up our students so one class builds on the previous.
